HALL RED ANGUS MAKES CHANGES IN 2009

2009 was a year of change for us. Paula and Brad have leased a ranch about 20 miles north of Stapleton. They and the boys moved in June and took some of the cows with them to summer pasture. The bred heifers went out the middle of January and the remainder of the cows will be going soon. With all of that, our operation has changed and it seems to be going well. Those big Sandhills there were full of great summer grass and the calves did very well. Right now the cows are on winter range with only cake every other day and they are looking good.

Without their help here, we decided to send our sale bulls to be fed at the Darr Feedlot near Cozad. The bulls look good and have grown well. We selected the sale bulls on January 18th, and we believe them to be the best we have offered for sale. They will remain at Darr until sale day and we invite you to stop and see them there.

We are offering 100 yearling bulls and 20 yearling heifers at the Burwell Livestock Market on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. These are cattle you can count on with dependable genetics at affordable prices, sired by breed leading sires such as Norseman King, 5L Summit, 5L Quarterback, BKT Nebula M045, BKT Epic M115, BKT Nebula P093, Ole’s Oscar, Lancer R095, and Lance R102.
